A nice addition to the macro facility, would be the option to autoload a macro file, based on the ext(type) of file being loaded, just like the syntax files. Smiley

And in consideration of this I think we might need 2 macro files to be constructed, 1 a "common" macro file that you want loaded all the time, and 2 a file specfic set of macros i.e. i don't need that macros i use for editing .xml when I'm editing a .tcl file.
But when I switch back and forth i surely don't want to clobber a file with some wrong macros I've defined.
