Looking for a text editor with which I could manage a workspace rather than program it, I found Crimson Editor.
It has three or four itens which are rare together in a product.
They are templates, columns, command line, and the ability add user products.
I am trying to do the following; split a sentence into its parts, resequence the parts make transformations where needed and translate.
Perhaps creating a python template might be the best way. It would need to be an executable,
Imagine the following.
EN sentence; The little boy has gone alone to school.
EN csv seq.   The little boy | has | gone | alone | to school.
DE csv seq.   Tne little boy | has | alone | to school | gone.
DE transform. The little boy | is | alone | to school | gone.
De Translate.  Der kleine Junge | ist | allein | zur Schule | gegangen.
There are a number of complications, but I am sure that members will have good ides.
Hope to hear.
Regards, patforkin.

I don't think I fully understand what you are trying to do.
To me it sounds like a job for a scripting language.

Entities should not be multiplied beyond necessity
