I am trying to add an extension (*.pde) to the C/C++ Syntax Type. However when I change it from

Code:
*.c;*.cc;*.cpp;*.pc;*.h

to

Code:
*.c;*.cc;*.cpp;*.pc;*.h;*.pde

Nothing different happens. I still have to manually tell it that pde files are C/C++ syntax.

To associate a different extension with another syntax highlighting go to
the folder Emerald Editor Community\Crimson Editor SVN286\link
inside ther are alot of files called extension.<somthing>
what you want to do is copy either the extension.c or extension.c++ , it does't matter which as both have the same info inside
then paste the file to the same folder and change its name to extension.pde
From then on when you load a .pde file it should have the same sytax higlighting as a c/c++ file.
Hope this helps.
