I tried svn checkout svn://svn.emeraldeditor.com/CrimsonEditor/trunk.

I got this error stack:
svn: Can't connect to host 'svn.emeraldeditor.com': A connection attempt failed
because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or
established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

Has the Subversion for this guy moved?

Hmm. This is strange. It does not look like it's a repo problem. I just tried the same commands that you used:

C:\ce>svn co svn://svn.emeraldeditor.com/CrimsonEditor/trunk

... bla bla bla - bunch of files ...

A    trunk\doxygen\cedt.cfg
A    trunk\dictionaries
A    trunk\dictionaries\user.dic
A    trunk\dictionaries\cedt.dic
Checked out revision 252.

Sigh, I should have checked outside the corporate firewall!  I got the svn trunk for CE and got it to compile and run from VS2008.  Thanks very much for the help. Smiley
