I was just thinking that we are releasing the betas very much adhoc.

SO I would like to propose the following and get feedback on the idea.

* We only release every 5 (or 10) commits UNLESS a major or critical bug is fixed.

The reasons for this are 3 fold.
1. It will be easier for the bug tracker to track the releases so we can identify regression with more ease.
2. Arantor could add a current svn version number somewhere visible on the website (and maybe on an rss feed) so people could check at a glance if it is an "expected" release.
3. It will make it easier for people to identify when a release is available.

Please post your thoughts.

Wonderful Idea I think.

I would also like to go further and suggest maybe a mailing list so that we know when a new release has been posted (especially in the event of a major bug fix).

Also it would be nice if for each beta release a way to filter the bugs in the bug tracker so you see the ones for a specific beta release.
