Folks,

Could there be an indicator as to which tab is the foreground, say by making the 'dot' a different colour or fading the background filenames out a la the nifty "ColorfulTabs" Firefox extention?

Johnny.

Do you mean that in Firefox active tab is a little lighter then inactive tabs?

@pn8830 - under normal circumstances the colour in Firefox is slightly lighter, but ColorTabs allows all sorts of colours - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1368

Highlighting the current tab is in the current 3.72 beta builds and I think it's actually working quite well, although I have to admit it surprised me at first (at first glance I thought it wasn't the prettiest thing, as it uses system default colours)

Exactly how it appears more visibly than the others could be configurable, I suppose.
