can one of the developers please post some easy or easiest  Undecided steps to downloading and compiling emerald editor for window's because im having trouble Huh

There's a forum thread somewhere about how to download and compile it, but it's a little confusing. It's really the only way though. The program's not really in any sort of state to be used though... You can probably get the same behavior out of a sciTE binary from what I understand.

hey again  Smiley rageboy it doesn't matter much if it's still in development i know it hard to believe because of the number of times ive asked questions  Embarrassed but i usually know what to do or most of the time  Wink

SciTE is a mature, stable, and quite full-featured editor.  It's not really comparable to the current state of Emerald Editor.

i know put i have followed emerald editor and i think it's great plus and i like being a nightly tester i do it for a lot of program's

Emerald Editor is really only a re-branded version of wxStEdit at the moment, it's not actually anything of its own nature.

As soon as we have a structure in place (I'm still waiting for those who are designing it to let me know) we can start building it properly and then we can involve testers.

Until then, I'm afraid, we can't do a lot...

Still, there is always testing for Crimson Editor...
