I use the forum RSS feed to get notification whenever someone posts on the forum, and I use the bug page RSS feed too, is there any way to put an RSS feed on SVN so I can see when people commit anything? If it's not a trivial task, don't worry about it as it is low priority. I just thought it would be nice.

Well, I did have a look at ViewVC (current SVN browser on http://svn.emeraldeditor.com/ ) to see if there's any in-built functionality for RSS feeds, which there isn't.

That said, a script is possible to create to do just this. I don't have that much experience of RSS feeds to be honest, but if you let me know what information you'd want it to display (especially if you can give me an example or two), I'll see if I can find a suitable solution.

Maybe something like this would work.

Code:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<rss version="2.0">

I don't see why that couldn't be put together in a script, whether I do it as a ViewVC modification or standalone script. (Actually, the latter would be easier for me to maintain, I'm not familiar with Python, let alone Python/SWIG/python-subversion, and I can probably put together a readonly PHP script to draw down the information from the database)

Let me have a play, I'll see what I can do over the next couple of days, Real Life(tm) permitting...
