"Save on change of focus" is from Codewright. When this option is enabled, all I have to do is alt-Tab to my brower and all my open files are automatically saved. It's my favorite feature in the whole world, and it must be trivial to implement. It prevents that constant frustration, "Why didn't the change I just made show up in the browser? Oh yeah, I forgot to save." I don't know why all editors don't have this option. I wish Word and Framemaker did.

It makes sense, but it should be made an option. If I accidentally type something and then change focus it will be saved. Then if I try to close CE it will save the change and not ask for a confirmation on exit. Also, if something steals focus, it will auto save. I just feel like this might cause issues if it was implemented as standard. It's also not expected behavior.
