this is the same for me. Individual file checkout doesn't help you get the whole project. I can only use http:// not svn:// because of proxy Sad

Yeah. Same thing here svn:// does not work from here, probably port is blocked.

IIRC svn:// runs on port 3690 IIRC (I'd need to check to be absolutely sure on that though - it runs from a shell script which I wrote a while back and haven't had to change lately)

I'm guessing about now would be the time to introduce nightly dumps of the SVN tree. Will people let me know what they want please? (Then I can write a script to bundle it into a .zip/.tar.bz2/.tar.gz as people want and leave then on http://svn.emeraldeditor.com/ for people to download)

considering CE is windows only & zip is the "most common" windows compression format I vote .zip

Well, I wasn't so worried about the format - changing between .zip/.tar.gz/.tar.bz2 is only ever a line away.

What do people actually want in the nightly dumps exactly? Should I just start with SVN/CrimsonEditor?

Yes. I think it's a good idea.

For Visual Studio 8, you should use the .sln file, not the .dsw file.

I think the .dsw file is out of date, but I don't have VS 6 to fix it.

Phil

I've grabbed the latest trunk from SVN and fixed the VC++6 workspace and project files, however I'm getting a number of errors on compile, specifically http://support.microsoft.com/kb/241569/pl

Not that its important, but VC++6 doesn't appear to be supported
