hey all.

I wanted to volunteer a project service.
Would you guys like me grant all project members an alias on the
@digitalentropy.net domain that will forward to your personal email.

Thus possibly saving you from SPAM when possible.

Or would you guys want a new email account on my domain?

I look to hear your thoughts.

It's a nice idea, and the offer is appreciated.

Personally I just give out my main email address, as that covers everything, but "digitalentropy.net" is a rather cool domain.

I'm still finding my way round postfix, but once I've got the hang of it (I think it's working OK), how about @emeraldeditor.com aliases?

There was talk of something like that for firefox.com, but it was eventually scrapped. Is it a feasible idea though?

emeraldeditor is fine with me

I offer digitalentropy.net since I own it and dont use the domain except for anything other than my personal site that NOONE goes to...so I dont have to worry about bandwidth to much...

If you end up getting EmeraldEditor.com up and running I am good with that.

Till then, I am started at least getting out information together for Distribution Lists and the like.

Actually, this makes me think of something. What would the point of an e-mail address at EE.com be? If the developers are trying to talk to each other, wouldn't a forum or simply a private message be best? Otherwise, if you have all the developers having their own unique e-mail addresses it might get messy when people will submit bug reports and the like to only 1 person instead of the whole team.

Maybe I'm misinterpreting something... Zhrakkan, with these distribution lists do you want to give us an alias like ee-bugs@digitalentropy.net and then any mail sent to that would be forwarded to whoever wants to read the bug reports? Or are these just personal e-mail addresses for the team?
